Senior Director Software Engineering (f/m/d)

Who we are and what you’ll do HOLOPLOT is seeking a decisive, technically strong and business-oriented Senior Director Software Engineering (f/m/d), to lead our 20-person software engineering organization, drive cross-functional delivery, and own the long-term software architecture for our high-performance audio products. Working closely with engineering leads who focus on deep technical problem-solving and team mentorship, this role leads overall software delivery, strategic technical vision, and cross-departmental alignment. Main objectives of the role As Senior Director Software Engineering (f/m/d), you will take full technical ownership of the end-to-end delivery of HOLOPLOT’s software ecosystem, spanning embedded and distributed Linux systems, audio DSP, 3D/GPU, C++, Rust and web-based front-end applications, Kubernetes cluster and cloud infrastructure. You will act as the operational bridge between software engineering, hardware development, research, product, customer success teams, and key enterprise clients. You will work closely with the Director of Product for Software as well as the CPO, and report to the CTO. Your role and responsibilities Strategic Software Vision & Architecture : Own and drive the strategic vision for the technical backbone of the HOLOPLOT product ecosystem.
