Your Mission We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Payment Squad. They manage BlaBlaCar’s payment solutions that provide reliability, trust, and a smooth end-to-end experience. As a Senior Backend Engineer, your role will be to drive the delivery of a reliable and scalable platform that supports the full payment lifecycle, fraud fight, and compliance requirements. You will take ownership of complex, cross-functional projects—such as finalizing the implementation of our payment orchestrator—and play a key role in expanding BlaBlaCar's business by proposing and integrating tailored payment methods for our various operational countries. You will act as a technical reference, demonstrating strong autonomy, deep architectural thinking, and the ability to synchronize with multiple external teams (Legal, Cash Management & Finance, Payment Ops).
