Senior Software Engineer - Click out to Revenue (m|w|d)

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Clickout-to-Revenue team , you’ll work on one of idealo’s most business-critical domains: the systems and processes that turn millions of clickouts into reliable merchant billing and revenue. This is a role with significant technical ownership. You’ll shape the architecture and evolution of our monetization landscape, make technical decisions across services and integrations, and help solve complex challenges at the intersection of engineering, finance, and commercial processes. Beyond building and operating software, we’re looking for someone who can bring technical direction, challenge existing solutions, and raise the engineering bar within the team. About your new role You take technical ownership of business-critical services and applications that connect clickouts, merchant billing, and revenue processes across idealo. You shape the architecture and technical evolution of this domain, balancing scalability, reliability, maintainability, and business needs. You design, build, and operate applications in AWS and take end-to-end responsibility following our “You Build It, You Own It” approach – including architecture, infrastructure, development, testing, security, deployment, monitoring, and on-call. You drive technical improvements and help identify where existing systems, integrations, and processes need to evolve.
